I have 2 Diamond Audio TDX 12's. I'm running them at 2 ohm. I need about 2400 watts rms. I was thinking about a US AMPS MERLIN 2 or to over power them with MA AUDIO HK4000. I know us amps old skool amps was underreated but I don't know about the new ones. Can anyone help. I'm going for max spl, I'm also driving a 2003 cavalier.

Thanks for your time...

Nate

Orion 2500d should work nicely in your application. I would also check out the new DD Z1. It would be a little more power than the subs are rated to handle, but they should handle it fine.

I have a D61500.1 on my 2 TDX 12"s. I love it. Can't beat the lifetime warranty with a bat.
