Hi all:

My name is Lucas ALvarez, Im new, there is not much info in my country abought soundcar... so I found this forum and I want to ask more experimented people what to do...?

I recently bought a 220 amps alternator and I have a small battery ( like the ones in HONDA FIT, 36 amps hour for car ) and a big 200 amps one in the truk for audio!

The thing is that Im readying all the info and I really dont know what to do!

Shoud I use an ISOLATOR like this?

ISOLATOR

Or coud I install both batterys directly?
What is the best?

Sorry if my English is not the best!

Thanks in advance!

Lucas

a bigger alternator really still only produces 14volts its the recharge that is accelerated depending on how much power ur pulling u might could get away with one battery and the beefed up alternator

My sistem is compound with 2 Alpine Amps PDX 1.1000 and one PDX 4.150 with a 30 Farad Capacitor and a Mechman Alternator rated on 220 amps!

I will use one battery for the car and plan on have the second one for the AUDIO when the car is off!
