made a new parcel shelf, rounded the external port end but not the internal.

does 144.9dB, dB drag legal, at 36Hz.
146.9dB "outlaw"

need to round the inside of the port also and see what happens, but thats rather difficult to do!

i'm pretty sure that would not be dbdrag legal except for superstreet and extreme classes. probably not even no-wall legal

a 3/4" rear deck panel which is probably above the window line? just doesn't sound like a street class legal build to me

I don't have a 3/4inch rear deck, and window line rule doesn't apply to sedans.

and there's nothing in the rules about an equivalent replacement rear deck being required either.

playing by our local rules, were we can open or close windows/doors as we want, sensor on the windscreen.

this was done with all the windows fully open, except the front passenger (just next to the TL sensor)

anyone have any ideas as to why opening everything makes it louder?

keeping in mind that I've lost ~0.8dB from previous box modifications.

be interesting to know what it would have done if I hadn't lost that!?!?

also did 149.2dB in the kick, everything open....

I want 150!

car has been stripped out and is up for sale.

lost interest in the car as it was just getting too rough externally, and I couldn't justify spending anymore money on it...

issue is, now I have to try and sell it :/

interior is all fairly neat still though, and I quite enjoy driving it still!

I currently have got a box that sounded fine but metered bad upon mic. I will run one or two more tests and use that info to support me with the up coming box.
