my older american bass 100.1 class d amp interferes with some radio stations. but when the amp is off the stations are fine. is there a way to fix this?

I think it has got to do with your source unit or the RCA cables more than it has to do with the amp.

Check the unit (if it's a Pioneer it may have a ground issue (typical Pioneer problem) then check the RCAs. If you run them next to Speaker wires you may have this problem,otherwise they may be cut or torn...

nope RCA cables are good. and ran far away from any power wires. like i said it only does it when the amp is on, if i unhook power from the amp radio statiosn are great. once i put power back to the amp and it kicks on i get static. i researched a little online and found that class d amp use fm signal and cause interference . just trying to find a fix. and no this isnt a pio deck, its a alpine.
