if you order a recone "kit" it will all come assembled. the vc,spiders, leads and cone will be all glued up and ready to drop in and glue up,easy! get some black super glue(hobby shop) or really strong epoxy.

put a bead of glue on the spider platform on the basket. drop in the assembly with the tinsils facing the terminals. and shim the pole to the inside of the vc. while that sits put a heavy bead of glue ontop of the spiders to lock it down. let that dry then glue ur surrond down, dust cap,and solder ur tinsel leads.

to glue ur surrond down use foam safe superglue, contact cement, household goop...

One of the most important things to remember too is to let the glue dry for more than 24 hours. I let my subs dry for 26 and one of the spiders came unglued and we were using CA glue. I had to reglue the spider with epoxy and I have never had a problem with it since. I would use the Locktite epoxy that is the 5 minute drying time. It also comes with a little tube that mixes both parts in so it's easier to put on.
