can you use body panel adhesive to mount amps...? (or should i say amp brackets)

i can't find out how much weight this stuff will support, and i was thinking of mounting a couple of amps to the ceiling of my 07 silverado crew cab...(the new jl digital amps, don't know how much they weigh)

just kicking around ideas and wondering if anyone has had succes doing this...

why not weld a support brace across the top-side beams? One of our shop employees just did this in his 03 Avalanche. pretty similar truck. Then he recovered the headliner.
He used a new RF T1500-1bd, a T600-4, a T400-4, and the 3SIXTY.2. All in the ceiling I believe.

those are great amps. but they will mess with your AM radio. as most of those "digital" amps do

Although I dont like the idea of roof mounted amp racks, welding brackets is the only safe way to go, especially if it is driven daily.
