I need to connect 26-8v batts. I have 3/16 x 2" copper buss bar or 4/0 solid strand wire or just use a quality 1/0 high count strand wire? Which do you think has the least resistance for DC current?
OH, i already have marine style terminals on the batteries.( the ones with the studs that stick up)

I like bus bar - connects well for conductivity as well as keeping the bank solid as a single unit. Otherwise fine strand wire whenever needed.

take a multi meter to the to equal length pieces and see what the resistance is.

thanks guys. I got a 100amp load tester and thought about trying to hook up a few 8volts with different wiring to see which one has more voltage drop.
what cha think about that guys?

too many other variables play in that way. not a good test in my opinion.

But it does work very well when you lick yer nipples and then clamp on the jumper cables to them - go zap - you can see the voltage difference then, well - kinda- after you wake up - all hard nippled and stuff, me thinking aloud again - should stop drinking, um, maybe not...
