Detlef Hagel
... i post this in the certified forum.
Let us discuss, which make sense.

... many of us was in Italy, and if you look around the competitor cars, the most cars of them was a Panda. Street A until Super Street.
Most Pandas come on a trailer.
Look to the world champion, which car he use?

On other side, how many real Extreme Cars was there?

An other point for me are the average score between the Street until Super Street classes.
We have in that 7 classes scores between 158dB and 169dB, that makes a sense?
Between 1 or 2 Woofers and 1 or 2 Batteries we have max. 2 dB different, that makes a sense?

In my opinion we need more different in dB between the classes.

If you dont want a limit by power rating, you can reduce the cost and the scores with more limits.

Street A:
1 Woofer 12" ... no rule for the conductors
1 Amp. / Heatsink, no linked mod, max. 1 powersupply inside, primarily power 1 + / -
1 Battery in the Car total and smaler size like now (maybe not limit the size, separate the cranking A to 700A or 1.000A)
1 power cable max. 1 Gauge, only inside of the car
max. 60Hz
no Subwoofer Amp. under a Seat
no Damping rule

Street B:
2 Woofer 12" ... no rule for the conductors
2 Amp. / Heatsink, no linked mod, max. 1 powersupply inside, primarily power 1 + / -
1 Battery in the Car total and smaler size like now (maybe not limit the size, separate the cranking A to 2.000A or 3.000A)
2 power cable max. 0 Gauge, only inside of the car
max. 60Hz
no Subwoofer Amp. under a Seat
no Damping rule

Street C:
4 Woofer 12" ... no rule for the conductors
4 Amp. / Heatsink, no linked mod, max. 1 powersupply inside, primarily power 1 + / -
2 Batteries in the Car total
4 power cable max. 0 Gauge, only inside of the car
max. 60Hz
no Subwoofer Amp. under a Seat
no Damping rule

no Street Max (?)
no Super Street nW (?)

Super Street 1-2 and 3+
like it is
tape everywhere 1 layer
normal driving position for the skin
normal driving using for all parts (door locks ...)
normal position for the wheels

Extreme 1+

cancel 5.2
cancel 5.5
cancel 5.6

so that will judge many more simply, and there are much less discussions

First of All, as i keep saying for years "LESS IS MORE"
Less Classes = More competitors ( more fun competing ..full brackets, more affordable organizing,more specator friendly)
Less Rules = More fun for the competitor, less gray areas, less whining for bad judgment, more credibilty, more subjectivity.

Saying that i will follow Detlef thoughts with some notices

1. Street STOCK A/B
====================
No need they come to replace entry level classes, but dbdrag has entry level clases, we called them street.... so

2. Street A
=============
1 Woofer up to 12" ... no rule for the conductors
>>> UP TO competitors should be given the oportunity to use smaller sub if needed.

1 Amp. / Physical Heatsink, no linked mod

>>> Too difficult to check inside AMP, amp rule must limit on outside characteristics maybe size

1 Battery in the Car total and smaler size like now ()
>>>> CCA cannot be measured, physical dimension can, so maybe smaller size but no need to for , if you put a power cabme restriction (Electricity 1)

1 power cable max. 0 Gauge, only inside of the car
>>>> 0 AWG is the most common bigger size available, there might be one or more companies providing 00 or 000 but thats not the case.
So limit the Power cable quantity and size and you pretty much DONE !!!

Frequency max. 50Hz or even better average Bandwidth (30-60)
>>> If we keep freq must be limited to a point that disadvantages both PANDAS (near 70s) and CRX (lower 60s)
But an average bandwidth measurement its much more closer to Street Philosophy.
no Subwoofer Amp. under a Seat
no Damping rule

Street B: as above but
Up to 1x 15" or 2 Woofer 12" ...
2 X AMPS

Street C
========

Not Neccesary IMO, competitors can easily move to NW

SS N/W
======

Also not necessary , mabe combined with STR C

SS 1-2 / SS 3+
==============

Rules remain as it is with

tape everywhere 1 layer
normal driving using for all parts (door locks ...)
normal position for the wheels ( i think this shouldnt be discussed)

EXTREME REMAIN AS IT IS
=======================

Maybe OS change the rule for symmetrical a bit so we can fit there all old ported constructions

i also think we need to keep Street Max
it's good step for competitor before Super Street and it's cheaper

Don't you think that street max car would promote to ss 1-2 or ss 3+.
Its not a big deal one more class but lets say try to keep it minimum
