Ok, looking to do a quick sub install for a friend and the HHR still has the factory system we are just gonna add a sub amp and subs. So looking for an input signal, I see where the factory sub would be installed but there is just a large plastic circle that looks like it would have to be cut out to add a sub. So do you think behind there we might find a sub signal lead from the factory? If not I will just use a Line out Converter from the back of the factory to RCA to the amp.

Thanks in advance,
B

chevyhhr.net has some information

I used the PAC 4 ch LOC that plugs in with the factory harness before the HU. I cut a little to make the box fit but it works great for me. Was like $100 on ebay but worth it

Got it installed but man the factory unit is huge and leaves no room for anything.
