i have a atomic apx q1 15" wired to .5ohm to 2 amps
that in my current setup produced 28.8 amps and 46.3 volts at 145.8 dbs which is 1333 watts per amp and 1.6 ohms which is a 1.1 ohms rise per amp

do you think going back to my atomic apoc d1 ohm might produce a similar box rise the same end point and maybe a higher spl i know it can handle the power.

i have heard that changing subs can change imp rise your best bet would be just test with both and see

we use both dc level 5's and the new version of the tsns in our nw truck and impedance rise is dead on with either sub. Dont know if thats always the case but with us it is.

apx is 3" apoc is 2.5" i thought the smaller motor stucture would cause a lower rise on the coil
