This cutting of the metal structure of the vehicle.
good to see you read the thread properly.

there was no metal cut at all.
It doesn't matter what material was cut you created a port of which makes it no longer a trunk vehicle but a baffle, and that's IF it's over the window line. but thats a nice score thought ,looks like you have a 4th order ?
it already had a port, and there's no window line rule for trunk cars

"no longer a trunk vehicle but a baffle"

wha?

its just as much a trunk vehicle as it always was, and its not a baffle, its a parcel shelf.

I'm actually still waiting for someone to show me anything in the rules that makes this not allowed in Street C.
Whats the year, make and model of the vehicle?

I just googled your car, thats a nice ride to cut up for street c, hopefully db drag lets us trunk guys play so you don't have to cut up that nice car for street c.

reason why I ask is street rules allows no cuting, but if that was an oem hole of which oem sub was there you should be fine,I don't know about the tape thought ,db drag's rules change year to year.

I don't think he's joking, when it comes to db drag it would be wise for you to have multiple pics a build log? of which everyone can see different angles of your set up? that will end all skepticism and doubt about your set up

Nice! If you want a 150 on a 4th order thru that small port you will need tons of power!

did 147.8dB at 36Hz sealed on the dash off about 3000watts.

would have come very close to 150dB in the kick, vented, except the box broke half the screws in the sealed chamber... which I found when I came to remove it

its all been pulled out now, car is for sale.
