Hey guys, just threw a new setup in my eg civic hatch. 2 x 2500wrms 18's in a 10.5 cube box before subs and ports.
2 9" ports roughly 7" long flared at both ends. Box has rounded corners and resin. Sealed as much of the car as I could. Subs up ports back. Box is peaking at 39hz, then rolls off and comes back at 53hz with only .1 of a db difference. Best I've got is 147.7 at 39hz on the tl, burping 53hz gets almost the same, but slightly less.
Im running 2 x odysee 2150 batts and plenty of 0G wiring, with 8G speaker wire.
I have a comp tomorrow and id really like to get a 150. Any tips you can think of to get me there?

147.7 - 150 isn't a small gain.

what voice coil are the subs, and what are the amps wired at?

Shrink the box size, run your amps below 1ohm each, shorten the back of it to give you as much space for the ports to load off the hatch and trade the subs and amps out for DD's!
