What are your opinions on JBL amps, their built quality, sound, durability, etc? Obviously JBL is owned by Harman Kardon which is a high end audio company but for those who have used their amps what do you think?

Thanks

They are pretty good for the price. Not competition grade, but certain good for the average customer for daily driving.

like the gto1400 or the older gto1200II. both good amps. i know i didn't bother to post the model numbers exactly. i'm lazy right now.
Those were both decent amps for the price. The crowns are great amps. They sound better than most BIG amps

If I would have known about the quality of JBL amps years ago it would have saved me a lot of time and money. JBL works well in my 300zx but I like my Digital Designs in the truck.

Yeah, fully charged batteries only sat at 13.8v
Wired to 1.4 each amp dont remember what the imp rise was at the freq. the van burps at.
But if your questioning the figures, contact DB Drag judge Erie as he had clamped it personally and figured it as per DB Drag rules for lower classes
