I have a 1990 s10 blazer that i am building a wall in. I was going with four 18s but the port size just does not work. If i shrink the box volume to raise tunning will it work or should i just run two subs?

I think you should do 2 or 3 18s. Probably 2. Cuz I'm sure that 2 subs that are adequate space will be louder than 4 that are crammed. That way you can make that port as big as it needs to be.

if you do forth think about inverting them for heat reasons... so the coils will be in all that moving air. thats the only bad thing about forth.. low power, it's sealed.. plus high box rise since sealed.. but im just saying
