This will be my 2nd box I have built. (1st one was sealed, but had too much internal volume)
Now Im looking to better design my next box. My electronic are:
HiFonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D (1200w Peak)
4- Orion Cobalt 12" 4ohm Subs (Info)

From what I can calculate, I should have a 6.7cu ft ported box for the 4 subs. I came up with a box that has a slanted front that gets me close to that, 38" wide, 19" tall, 25" deep bottom, 14.25" deep top. 3/4" MDF. (I can provive my max working dimensions if needed)

Now if I add my ports inside, does that reduce my overall volume?

Thanks,

yes, internal ports will reduce internal volume. what kind of vehicle, and what sides will the subs be mounted into?

it will be a 2010 scion xB. the subs will be on the slanted face, facing the rear hatch.

What is shown will be the cut-outs for the subs, not the actuall OD of the mounting ring
