My amp was too expensive to try it out, plus I have no warrenties on mine. Ask around, some folks swear they are good on burps pretty low, just make sure, as you know these amps are not cheap, or even for that matter cheap to repair.

Good luck bro

I saw a T3000 burped at .35 on 16v before, but it blew the fuse every time.

thanks for the replies, I guess I have to tell my friend don't buy it, he wanted to use it for comps at 0.25 and for daily at 1 ohm

so take out the fuse and try again (you know that fuses kill spl)
I bet it would work very well
the SS1-2 use 8 T3000 on 0.35 ohm
and with the atomics even lower (higher impendance rise)

You can do what you want, but its an awfully expensive amplifier to just start pulling stuff out of...

maybe when you play with your barbie dolls

but when you want to be competitive in dbdrag you have to take some risks
and ok sometimes an amp will burn
you have to live with that if you want to be the best or get higher ##
