Mike Singer helped me clamp a 15k in my car, used my DMM on peak hold to get DC voltage drop. He watched the other 2 meters and gave me the numbers, so NOT peak holds

2) 15" RD alphamax D2
1) SS 15k
9) XS Power D1000
same setup did a 152.5 the day before on 1 xxx-6500 with all VC's wired in parralell about 0.7 ohms

wired to 1 ohm per channel, only clamped 1 channel/ speaker lead

95 volts AC
32 amps
17.2v start dropping to 15.7 v
153.1 db

now the gain was about 20% for this test

we tested again with the gain turned up but I had changed some setting on my HU(turned loud off), and we actually got about 400 watts more and gained 0.1 db

So I found out that I need lower ohm subs and have a 3x rise.

***Cliffs - 6080 watts at 5.94 ohms***

more tests to come

hmmm...thanks for the results wish we had more people doing this stuff so we could compile a master list or something....maybe split out results for street and SS.

I want to butI would need some subs with quad 1 ohm voice coils to get each channel that low.

soon I will a pair of D1's, so 0.5 a channel a hopefully a nice boost in power

I clamped 7500 watts out of mine @3 ohms. Starting impedance was 1 ohm, i also have a 3x rise in my box. by the way i used all true rms fluke meters for the test. Input voltage was 12.5 vdc off of 4 g31 batts.

You need an alt now.

That's not a problem
