I would think you should listen to the designer and manufacturer of the woofer. Why would you listen to anyone else?

I have a friend running an Fi 15"BTL with a Cactus 5K for over a year...

If a BTL can handle 5K why a TSNS can't? It is a much more reliable unit!

The TSNS' are awesome subs but why would you want to run that much power to a single woofer? Even thought it has a large coil, that's a lot of juice.

because its either 3k or 6k. and 3k will not maximize the ability of that sub.

he is right that is a lot of power to be feeding to a coil for daily use don't get me wrong there good subs but i think u might end up reconing a lot due to burnt coils and burnt coils are not replaced under warranty
