Wow...very impressive. Congratulations on using a different car and different woofer configuration. Its great to see something different;especially with this type of success.

How many batteries did you have in total? Did you have windshield issues at that high of SPL?

Well,

We ended runner up in Europe with a certified 166.2dB.
Concerning that the car did his first 166+ in testing only on wednesday, that's a pretty good result I think.
Unfortunatly, the D10s amps gave some problems running on 18v, so we had to search for an other solution. Luckely, I have some nice friends, dealers and DD Europe! They made it possible that we ended up using 8 x DDM4a and 15 x 16v batteries.

Sadly we broke an amp on sunday at the final run of the 3x competition...
Thanks to Miko and Holger, I was able to fix the amp in just over 2 hours! Thanks again guys!
This ment that we ran 1/2 final with only 3 subs connected against Ams car audio-Oliver.

BUT... we made a mistake on setting up the fixed amp for the Final run against the greek guys, gians were much to wide open, so one pair of amps went in to protect and probably killed a spider than. After setting the gains correctly, we could put up a 166.2dB in our bye-run with a busted spider.

Well, more luck next year I hope... :-)

Not sure if sell it, build it for 4x12s or just extend it for 2x18s...
