I POSTED BEFORE IN THE WRONG SECTION BUT LET ME TRY HERE.

sorry about caps i'm at work.

i need a answer for a judge on this, i'm building a car up for street max, and this car has bad weather stripping.

in the rules it says either weather stripping or foam tape no thicker than .5"

what about width, can it only be .5" wide, or can it be an inch wide?

my car has factory weather stripping on the door and the body, so if i replace it with weather tape then i can only have it on the body right?

please judges let me know how wide of tape i can use, and that i can only use it on either the door or the car body, or if i can use some on the doors and some on the body as long as it only has 1 layer

thanks
jon

since i have gotten no reply from any judges i m going to do this:

i will use weatherstripping that is .5" thick and about 1.5 inches wide, i will do the bottom half of the door on the cars body and the top half on the door itself, i will do my best to not overlap them, and if i am questioned about it at any event i will show the judge i tried to ask where i was suposed to ask and got no replies and the way i am going to do it is within the intent of the rule in my eyes

if a judge looks at this will you still answer.....
