Hi im new here and i wanted to know if i could use my rear battery negative post as the grounding for my bass amp and cap. beacuse the battery is already grounded to the chassy of the car. Or do i have to ground my amp and cap directly to the chassy as the battery is? Thanks for any help.

If you have substantial grounding for the battery it should be fine

Why do you have a second battery AND a cap? Just use the battery and throw your cap in the trash.
